Forgot the exact process or law that allows this, maybe someone behind me can provide the documentation. Think you can have partial forgiveness if you're a little above that, I'm not sure what the cutoff point is for not having any of it forgiven. And I have ignored several decent sized medical bills and was never sued probably because it would have cost them more money than they would have received. I don't know anything beyond that though.
