Bill Clinton; various, small number of wrestlers who just touched hands with fans and shouted "Heey!" on their victory walk back down the aisle at a Smackdown show; the guy who played James Hathaway in Lewis (I didn't know it at the time); and a bunch of state-level politicians in WA state and MD.

And Dick Valentine once played the song suggestion I hollered at an Electric Six concert, but that probably doesn't really count.

Bill English and John Key (former notable figures in NZ politics - luckily for them I met them before I knew much about them beyond the names and faces), Ben Read (from the band 8 Foot Sativa - was in a couple of the same uni classes as him at one point), and some other celebrity who's name I don't actually remember - I'd never heard of them but someone I was with recognized them.

Some of my family used to be pretty close with Michaela Banas's (might be remembering her name wrong) brother and met her a couple of times through him, I never personally met her tho.

Also had a Facebook chat with the somewhat-infamous-in-NZ Jami-Lee Ross at one point, tho never met him in person. He sent me a friend request but I declined, lol. This was before he went full anti-vax / plandemic nutjob, though even back then something felt a tad off about him.

Met a US Olympic team swimmer once but didn't even know who he was lmao still got a picture with him.

For musicians I've met Nikki Lane, Justin Furstenfeld, Lindi Ortega and Sascha Konietzko (well all of KMFDM minus Lucia). Love when you get to talk to the musicians after a show

The host of the local radio station. He stopped in to buy chewing gum when I worked in a gas station.

There was some band stopped at the hotel I work at. I had no idea who they were, but my coworkers freaked out over it later. I don't remember now what the name was, but I mostly just dealt with the manager. Think I might've sold a couple band members some water after they checked in.

People don't believe this but in L.A. depending on the part of town you're in you can see 2-5 celebs a year. That's just those you recognize. I'm GenX and when I mention the names and numbers of celebrities I have seen, people think I'm bullshitting.

summer 2019 my wife (then gf) and I were in nashville for a few days. The Tuesday night before we left we got out to printers alley to check out some blues

we stopped in at this place called Skulls Rainbow room and it was deadwe got there too late and there were like four other people there at the time.

a group of five people walks in and sits next to us. I noticed one of them wearing a vampire weekend shirt. There had been a vampire weekend concert in town that night so I assumed they had just left. So I struck up a conversation with the guy in the VW shirt, how was the show, stuff like that. He said great, asked us what we were in town for, and recommended some cool places around town.

then he says do you know NSYNC?. Im like huh, what? Yeah of course

he says want to meet my friend JC?

turns out I had been talking to Chris Kirkpatrick the whole time. They offered to take a picture with us, and my gf was freaking out lol



I also met Andrew WK when he was doing a DJ set at a Vegas casino

I've worked for a lot of radio stations so I've met a ton of musicians and a few random celebs like Steve O and Nick Lachey.

The coolest musician I met was Justin Timberlake, and the worst was P Diddy.

Snoop Dogg walked past me at Heathrow airport. Actually gave me a nod while smiling.

Peter Capaldi at Embankment station in London. He looked lost and was with and old woman.

Christopher Eccelston jogged past me in Hampstead Heath.

Lastly Rupert Graves (Lestrade in the BBC Sherlock) in Pret at Kings Cross station (London). I made eye contact with him and nodded and he nodded back. Didnt want to bother him.

Hulk Hogan at Tampa airport, Terry Funk at a local show, and Bam Bam Bigelow at a local show, he was scheduled to wrestle Tanaka but Tanaka never showed.
