take $80.01, divide by 6, and find that you should sell at $13.34 to make a profit

Are you asking about big profits from small investments or just generally big profits?

If someone has 50k invested, 1k+ profits are expected. If someone only invested 1k, 1k profit is huge

typically stock value changes are 1-3% a day. i'm not a day trader so i cannot say for certain what average sale profits are, but if you keep making $30 gain on a sale, invest in other securities that are down, sell that when up, it'll add up.

GME is a gamechanger. this will not happen again (most likely). Hold for $thousands in gainz

I'm up 1,400 right now. Threw in $3,000 to play with 3 weeks ago. I'm up to $4,400 in stocks right now. I was at 3k profit and my stocks were worth 6k right before the robinhood restrictions and I lost $1,500 due to that whole people not being able to buy but can sell.

dude, wtf? to get thousands, you need to put in thousands. or get super super lucky, like buying one GME at $36 and it selling at $1k+ (which will happen if you HOLD HOLD HOLD)

But average trading? Nah. You start small and build your way up. It's a marathon not a sprint. Unless you have tons of capital to burn.

If it was that easy and common then most people wouldn't have money issues and would be doing this more regularly than investing in IRAs and retirement accounts

Think of the percentages. A share would have to shoot up 4000% to turn your $25 into $1000 which is just unheard of.

idk. I just threw a hundred-ish each at those meme stocks, its such a comparatively small amount that its just like fuck-it money. Might as well ride it out and see what happens

Unless you invest $25 in some penny stock and it shoots to $10 or $100 a share then $25 won't get you much anywhere. You need to invest a lot more to see insane returns but don't let a lot of the gains you're seeing fool you. A lot of people on WSB are essentially gambling away their live savings ($10k+ or so) and making money on a once in a lifetime opportunity. It's a terrible strategy that happened to work for them but this isn't the norm at all.

You would only get massive gains like that if a penny stock goes to $1. Like if you invested $100 into dogecoin and it hits $1.
