I dont know what happened after hours, but I see GME and AMC have seen a nice fat increase.

Almost wishing I had bought more than the single share of GME when it was at $77. I did buy 30 AMC when it was at $5 though.

Robinhood doesn't offer some stocks like OTC (over the counter), so you may try searching for something and not have it show up there.

It's decently user friendly though. It's babby's first digital broker (which is why I'm using it lol)

I use Schwab for my active managed portfolio. I have Fidelity for my 401k/IRA that I just buy mainly VTI and QQQ with and leave alone mostly except to make regular contributions.

So, my sold calls for $5 are going to get exercised on Friday for AMC. Should I buy them back tomorrow, just buy more AMC? At what price? Im gonna set a limit order but itll likely jump in pre-market, people will take their gains, then itll jump again Im sure.

Please guys help me out and sell off down to under $5.25

I didnt buy into AMC for a meme stock, I bought to hold and sell calls but got caught in the middle.

Im getting Teslad again! (I bought 20 Tesla shares back in early 2019 and sold in Sept 2019 right before the jump...had $6k in, would be 100 shares now). Now Elon tweets and is gonna cost me thousands on AMC as a result of WSB GME hype spreading.

Fuck!

Someone in SMG#2 said what am I selling next...you gotta be shitting me but I sold Nokia at $4 a few weeks back. If that gets on this train Im just going to blow up my entire portfolio.

There's always a chance it drops below your break even point or close to it by Friday and it becomes cheap to buy back if needed

If everyone sells off before end of day, MC wins. People really dont know how the market (and especially options) work.

Options expire end of day, at market close (not after-market hours).

Anyone who sells off before Friday after-market hours will not have accomplished what this whole thing is about (but honestly who gives a shit if you take huge gains).

So I read that if the stock is over $115 EOB Friday some bank has to buy up a bunch of stock.

I put $500 into AMC this morning and that was basically it for my green today. lol man, everything else is killing me. Some of my SPAC's are getting close to their stop limits. smh

I see AMC as a semi legit, semi meme stock. Definitely more legit than GME since they're not in danger of going bankrupt. Plus they'll greatly benefit from pent-up demand as theaters gradually open back up.

This is why I bought 200 shares and sold a $7 call. If it shoots up I still have the 100 other shares.

Is the reasoning that since the calls expire, they will be exercised and to fulfill that obligation to sell the shares someone will need to buy a lot of stocks hence driving the price up?
