You're not missing anything. They went the Skyrim route so all the enemies are bandits or zombies, and it's like 99% radiant quests. Except the radiant quests here can give you rewards but you have no way of knowing that unless you just kill many hours repeating the same task over and over again. Oh and the pace of the story is fucking terrible lmao I wish I could get a job as a script fixer to avoid embarrassing shit like that being published.

FWIW my game was broken - stealth was the exact opposite of what it should have been, so I had to deal with trying to play stealthy while... alerting enemies to my position across the map 100% of the time no matter what.

I bought the GOTY edition a few months ago for like $5-6 and have played maybe 10 hours of it but its so goddamn boring and unwieldy. Im still only level 4-5 but I dont really have any desire to play more.

I disagree. But I can see why someone wouldn't like the stuff they backpedaled on. I enjoy it for what the progressed on. Like the gunplay and not having you max out your character way before you're done playing.
