Part I would end after Disc 1: I could see a variety of areas to expand upon in the game including, but not limited to: Expanded flashbacks. Areas expanded upon like the communication tower turned into a full dungeon, the forest before Galbadia Garden, the tomb, Deling sewers and the Presidential Residence being the final dungeon. Side Quest focused chapters in Balamb Garden, Timber and Deling. Ch. 1: Beginning and Fire Cavern Ch. 2: Garden Sidequests Ch. 3: Dollet Siege Ch. 4: Communications Tower Ch. 5: Escape Ch. 6: Return to Garden and Additional Sidequests Ch. 7: Training Center Dungeon Ch. 8: Last Chance for Sidequests in Garden Ch. 9: Flashback 1 Ch. 10: Timber Pt. 1 Ch. 11: Timber Pt. 2 (Sidequests and a new boss fight at the TV Station) Ch. 12: Expanded Forest Dungeon Ch. 13: Flashback 2 Ch. 14: Galbadia Garden and Train Ride to Deling City Ch. 15: Tomb of the Unknown King Ch. 16: Deling City Sidequests Ch. 17: Deling City Sewers Ch. 18: Presidential Residence Dungeon and last bosses of Disc 1 Part II would go from leaving the Prison until the Battle of the Gardens. Graphics wise, FF8 always seemed ahead of the technology, would be good to see its art style fully realised. Same with FF6 too, and by then FF10 would be due a remake as well.
