I mean, she might be okay, but the panels with her stand disintegrating seemed pretty final. Usually when Araki shows the stands taking "fatal" damage after the person, it tends to be curtains for them. He usually shows the humans taking damage from the stand's injuries if they're going to be fine (if they're non-remote, which I guess Born This Way probably isn't).

I've enjoyed WoU but this is the chapter that's made it really start to drag for me. I'm not invested in Tooru as a villain and the damage he's done is, well, calamitous. Literally every main character (Joshu Kei Jobin Norisuke Tsurugi Mamezuku, even Josuke's eye) was killed or crippled during this arc which is about Yasuho's weird groomer overseer pretending to be a doctor. WoU itself is an endlessly convoluted stand that protects Tooru and the stand body simultaneously, has a human-level intelligent autonomous feature, can exist omnipresently, and can beam itself through surfaces as it did to enter the Higashikata house, while killing anybody that even thinks of approaching it or interfering with its goals. The past five chapters have been "Josuke has a hidden power that can outhax this but he's not confident enough to control it" meanwhile everybody in his life continues to die.
Lots of people on /a/ literally want Josuke to develop Bites the Dust and essentially cancel this arc, which I sympathise with, but at that point it would erase like two years or more of Jojolion because Josuke has just been sitting in this chair for an eternity. Like Araki really had the audacity to throw a stand animal subfight in here as well and a Rai x Head Doctor origin story. I don't think I'll even be satisfied if Tooru just gets killed because it's such a Pyrrhic victory. If josuke had just listened to Yasuho then they wouldn't have even continued the hospital pursuit. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Technically she didn't fully disintegrate, just her right section. There's still potential for her. I think it's way too fast for her to just die here. This would be even faster than if Okuyasu had legitimately died from Stray Cat's bubble. --- </topic> ... Copied to Clipboard!
