They held auditions for this, there was at least 30,000 they had to listen to. Its a mix mash of new VAs and established names on the indie scene

I was in this and Brave New World mod. I honestly was having a wager in my head which would come out first haha. Also I'm in a few mods on the Nexus if yall want to check it out. The Fallout modding scene is way more stable and less backstabbing than indy VA scene haha

yeah I'll be more clear - I was referring to the regulars I've heard on the indie scene for the past decade+ or so.

Don't justify yourself to me, I'm just some random chud stating his preconceived notions. Be proud of yourself and that people will enjoy something you helped create

This is fully scripted and has cut scenes and such. They changed and programmed a lot of the AI. I dunno the technical no how of what else they did but this has been in development for 7 years. So a few of the other VAs that were in this got caught off guard haha

I honestly thought I can definitely do better my mic was shit at the time. I think I may have new lines to record soon, while they investigate bugs and such. Because the audio levels need work.

Nah you're not wrong about the indy VA scene, but people are slowly stepping their game up from when I started. A lot of these newer folks grew up with competent VA work in video games and not Resident Evil 1 and Castlevania SOTN haha. The VA indy scene is just like the indy movie scene, some good and some bad haha

Nice. I'll definitely have to check it out. Mostly compared them as the California mod is massive in scope as well, with its own cutscenes/VA etc too. This one looks really good though and to go far above that mod so be proud of your work on it! VA is good/important stuff for these games.

Usually they have a comprehensive instructions on the Nexus to install things. The biggest thing to look out for is installing the right files into the right folder. You fuck up one, you potentially fuck up the mod and your game. There may be instructions on youtube.

The Nexus mod manager makes it pretty easy to host all the different mods.. just make sure they are compatible with each other (the mod manager is actually pretty good at letting you know which mods will conflict or need to be changed in order)

Id start slow with a couple of changes and just see if theres anything within the game that looks off

maybe check 5 mods at a time before you start adding more of them

If you have any ENB mods its not compatible with The Frontier. So be wary of that

I got a lot of respect for musicians as well! I do audio engineering for my own indy audio projects and for yall to do that all the time has be tiring to get the levels correct and stuff. And man I'd love to do Kratos but Christopher Judge is way better at it haha

Are the recommended specs correct? I can play it on my PC, but I can only be bothered playing on my laptop sometimes (which plays the game with NMC Low and Poco Bueno no problem).

Hmmmmm you might want to keep it on the PC. This one will keep your laptop on its toes in terms of performance. But it not having ENB might help as well
