My point is, I don't think you should see it as a rule. Lots of people will fit your narrative and lots wont. Maybe the ones that do are more likely to kasually throw this question around? I never thought to ask until incels became a thing.

Honestly getting laid was the best thing that could've happened to me as far as my dating game was concerned. Everything clicked at that moment and I was no longer a confused kid.
