My Mother in Law, was pressuring my wife hardcore to put her niece/wife's cousin in the wedding as a bridesmaid. MIL was offended when she didn't. Wife sees her cousin like 2-3x a year at holidays. Other bridesmaids were her sisters, my sisters and a college roommate. Idk, just doesn't seem to fit, I think the cousin would have felt odd being included tbh. Its more work to stand in a wedding. At the same time, if my brother or best friend got married and I was left out of the wedding party, Id feel hurt by it.
