I agree. And it's just a tribal thing. It's always us vs them. A lot of these crazy people don't view people as single people, but rather as groups with the same mind set. I can't stand listening to people talk politics.

I actually feel bad for him consider what he did for 20 years and what we know about brain injuries. I don't know if they made him crazy or just caused him to lose his filter, but he wasn't always like this according to people who know him. He was always into politics, but he was never crazy.

Just for the sake of discussion, would a hypothetical "deep fake" child porn be criminal? Since they're not "real". To be clear I'm in no way defending that if it exists, but wouldn't that fall under the same category as loli porn (I'm not fully versed in "deep fakes")? That's how those perverts get away with it "ACCHUALLLY she's not real and shes ACTHUALLY 700 years old, harumph and ehue"

The thing with loli is that it's usually drawn (2D or perhaps CGI) and IIRC usually isn't enough to charge anybody with anything. Even in the case of the art being a reference to actual CP the drawn picture itself probably isn't enough to do anything for someone that acquired it, though even if that isn't the case you'd probably wouldn't anywhere near your hard drive anyway.

In the case of a deepfake if it's just a face of a child on an adult body... that is disturbing, but not necessarily illegal. But if it's the opposite then yeah it's most likely illegal.
