1 - I keep recruiting middle aged women for some reason. The first person I chose when you get to choose has really fast hacking so I figured that would be useful, then I found some lady with a unique dart gun and immunity to poison so I went to recruit her and in doing that mission I found a paramedic that unlocks a slew of cool stuff like faster healing and access to hospitals and stuff.

So my whole squad is going to be like the Golden Girls or something idk.

I laughed at a couple character traits so far... apparently you can recruit characters that die at random and characters who are drunk so they're tough as nails but they hiccough so they give away their position.

I should also be finishing cyberpunk ... whoops.

2 - When playing GTA Online yesterday my computer started freezing up for like twenty seconds and then the game resumed playing like normal except the audio driver crapped out.
And then playing WD Legion tonight... same thing. Everything was cool, got to the objective area, the music changed and then it just started locking up. Except nothing actually froze or died this time, it was just really, really obnoxious stuttering.

I hope my computer's not dying :(

It's very easy to get into a cycle of profiling everyone yoy see and wanting to recruit them all. To the game's credit, it doesn't discourage that too much.

But yeah it's a lot for hardware to handle.

Yeah I really only got it because it was almost buy one, get one free with Valhalla.

Honestly kind of weird because it rolls hard on the fake news. I get the feeling it's almost siding with the 5g antivax flat earthers. Maybe it's just the narration but in 2020-2021 it feels a little misguided.

Yeah I wanted to have an extra person in case I died but maybe I'm too early in the game because that doesn't seem to matter even with Ironman on.

I have a good rig so I don't know what's causing it. Brand new SSD too -.- just updated to last week's drivers so maybe that will help

Yeah, there's a mission early on where Permadeath doesn't start happening until then, presumably so people aren't having to restart from the beginning.

It's on the older side, but I have put 380 hours in to GTA 5 and never had this issue until yesterday. I played Friday and all day Saturday and zero performance issues. Then last night... was on for maybe 15 minutes and the audio driver crashed.

Hoping a clean install with the Nvidia drivers from last week solve the issue.

edit: Also gonna run HWMonitor next time I try anything out just to see if heat is spiking or anything.

Oh if you didn't have issues before then I'm not sure

I know when I first tried to play it at launch on an older i7 it ran like shit, then when I upgraded to a 5800X it ran fine

Ugh I know I should update the CPU but then I gotta buy a new motherboard too -_-

Having similar issues in two different games does sound a bit odd. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.

But yeah Watch Dogs Legion shines when you just dive into its weird concept. I have a homeless Jamaican man who knows kung-fu and has an assault rifle. He is badass.
