So boring man. Opening scenes are quite hard hitting, then it just degrades into mind numbing dullness. I know theres not much you can really do with the subject matter but fuck man

You could use an accelerant like lighter fuel to get rid of the parts faster.

Just finished it. I really enjoyed it! The opening quarter was brutal, and I found what followed to be quite poignant. The awkward failed sex scene was particularly sad.

These sorts of films aren't made to be so much about plot, but character studies, and if you can't connect to any characters or don't enjoy character analysis, you're unlikely to enjoy this film. I can see how this film can come across as slow, but personally I am more likely to find those moments meditative rather than slow.
