I remember over a decade ago I too was reluctant to give up buttons in favor of a smart phone.

Micro USB sucked cause those little hooks or whatever the proper term for them is would easily break and the charger would fall out of my phones constantly.

I used my phone a ton at lunch. Like an hour straight. I only lost 19% charge since I got here

USB-C is nice because the plugs work either direction.

And wireless charging at very least saves on cord and plug wear, but it doesn't work very well or sometimes at all if you've got a cover on your phone.

I had a OnePlue 7 Pro for a while and really liked it. Once you figure out what the hell you're doing, I think you'll be pleased.

Yep. Oneplus 7 Pro is just peak phone design imo. My only gripe is the aggressive edge curves but like I said, a proper case fixes it. I'll probably hang onto mine until phones start getting into the no notch/punch holes camera tech properly.

Sometimes I'm accidentally resting a finger on the edge, then try pressing a link or something only for nothing to happen. Then I realize it's cuz I got 2 fingers on the screen. I got a new beef case, should have been delivered by now. Can't wait to slap that sucker on after work

One underrated aspect of the phone: The cameras on the back. A nice simple vertical lineup that is aesthetically more pleasing than the horizontal way that most phones did at the time. And it hella trumps the ugly ass rectangle/square boxes that most phones today are trying to rock.
