Anyway, upgraded from a beat to shit galaxy s7 with cracked screen, busted camera, severe lag & connectivity issues

Got a OnePlus 7 Pro, and it's sleek and cool. I have no fucking clue how to navigate without buttons though and it's frustrating me. Plus side, I can now watch videos on my phone!!

Although it doesn't seem to be picking up it's plugged in. Maybe it's the outlet

oh, it is charging. This phone doesn't have a red/orange light to show that, is that normal?

Yeah it's normal, as long as you have the lightning bolt over the battery icon you're good and it's charging.

it's annoying tho cuz I have to click the power button to see if the lightning bolt is there. i'm so paranoid it'll stop charging

my phone is weird about charging. There is a regular charge and a fast charge. For the longest time, it was seemingly random which one it did, even though fast charge is a feature you can turn on and off (I've kept it at on). I finally figured out that it was due to the charger itself. If I plugged it in the wrong way, it would just regular charge, so like half the time, I was actually just charging it incorrectly >_<

I'm not sure what mine is. It looks like the plug that goes into my xbox controller which may or may not be micro usb, but is slightly larger.

As said before, its USB-C.

My Elite v2 and MacBook Pro take the same charger and its nice cause my MBP block supercharges my gfs phone like a champ.

my phone isn't exactly new though. It's a galaxy A20 and I think it's at least a few years old.

Hehe. Welcome to modern times. I hope you grow to love your 7 pro as I have!

And yeah. I didn't make quite the jump you did but gestures did take a bit to get used to. But it was worth it to get that nice full screen feel without needing the bottom space to be taken up by the three buttons.

Also, I think because you got a refurb (right?) they didn't give you the 30w warp charger. You don't NEED it but man you would be hella impressed by how fast it charges your phone.

If ya need any help/tips, don't be afraid to ask.

It might. I'm not sure about the compatibility. But the 30w charging brick is more of a modern thing.

Also wireless chargers are okay. But with said charger I mentioned you could literally take a 15 minutes shower with your phone charging and it'll be up 25-40%. You could probably get a full charge in about an hour. I heavily suggest in looking into one.

My s7 was purchased refurbished and in already bad condition I wanna say 2 years ago. Before that I had an s4, and before that a pink Motorola razer. I've never experienced when smart phones got good

It scrolls in 90hz if you turn it on on settings and not use the auto setting. The only time it goes to 60fps is during certain things like using the camera, watching videos, etc. But there are ways to force 90hz.

They're actually on oneplus 8 now with 9s coming out this year. But tbh they peaked with the 7 pro. Great price initially with top of the line specs. With the 8 series they're just trying to be samsung

also I forgot this uses a new plug so I don't have a charger at work. i hope this lasts til 5, idk what battery life is supposed to be like cuz my previous phone drained in like 3-4 hours just idle

I picked up an aux to USB-C adapter when I got my Pixel. My 2010 car is too old to support Android auto (which allows for both charging and sound interface at the same time!) but I can easily do one or the other.

I easily get 6-7 hours of screen on time. When idle can last like 12-15 hours
