Nope. You may be suffering from shin splints. Not everyone can run for cardio exercise. You may have to switch to something more low impact, like elliptical.

Try something where you can cycle your legs with resistance so that you don't have to slam your knees and shins constantly on pavement. Such as a machine.
Or Running on grass will lessen the impact. Or do bike riding or even a stationary bike for a long period of time. You can also power walk instead of running. It's not taking the "pussy way out." You can get strong ass legs by power walking really fast and you don't have to slam your knees for it. --- Latest Game Completed 100% Resident Evil VII ... Copied to Clipboard!

When you start to get into running as an adult, there is basically no way around have to push through some shin splints for a while.
However, it shouldn't last more than a couple of weeks and you should moderate your running if they are staying sore for too long. You should start to see the muscle that wraps down over your shin start to develop, this is the one that absorbs the impact. Until you beef that one up enough there will be soreness, but after that it should not be a persistent or detrimental issue. More of the good post fatigue than actual pain. ... Copied to Clipboard!

If you run like an idiot sure.Yeah I guess you know nothing about running or anatomy or physics. Can't help you there buddy. Slamming was an exaggeration, but you obviously haven't seen any studies and don't know much about the body. Reasons why swimming is superior but sadly swimming isn't in season right now.
