You're not talking about that far right Scandinavian fuck who rowed out to a school on an island and killed like 24 people, right?

Oh yeah, blowing up a cathedral with only the person who was keeping the peace in it, and thus knowingly spark a war between two factions who can both cause a lot of death and destruction (and guess what? They both did, regardless of their reasons).
Nothing wrong with a terrorist move like that all.

I bet none of that would have happened if the Wardens would just have let Anders keep Ser Pounce-a-lot.

The Templars nor the Chantry were interested in treating the mages as anything other than caged animals. Anders forced everyone to see that since the first thing the Templars did was start massacring mages. Which also forced the Mages to make a decision, either be kept as caged animals or fight, but if you choose to be caged know that it was your choice to do so this time.

Plus Anders isn't exactly mentally stable AND Kirkwall is quite literally a cursed city in the lore. Everything is shitty there due to all the death over the centuries.

Like yeah he's a terrorist but there's a ton of context people ignore.

He's basically an abomination by the end but the mage rebellion would have happened with or without him, he just helped kick start it early.

I don't even care if he was right or not, he was a whiney bitch that I had killed in the first games dlc and he was still alive because reasons, and he should have just stayed dead.

How is it irrelevant when it is a key part of what he ends up doing what he does? Doesn't remotely absolve him, but it isn't really Anders or Justice anymore but someone else entirely at that point. Mostly something people seem to forget when they say "Anders/Justice was NEVER like this in Awakening" Like cool, they're not that person anymore.

Also I just like rivalling him as you can actually make him stop his plan as he realises it's not something he wants but well, Justice ain't having that.

It's irrelevant to whether or not he did anything wrong

But yeah it definitely is a big part of the reason he did the thing that wasn't wrong

Right or wrong I don't think really matters. It was inevitable, as you see just how corrupted the circle gets at the end and how many blood mages fill Kirkwall's streets. If he hadn't done it, something else horrific would have happened instead.

Plenty of innocent people died for certain though, and who knows what would have happened if the mage circle was left to explode by itself.

From what I remember it's not Justice directly but he may have gradually turned Anders into an extremist.

Eeeeenh.

If you rival Anders, he tries to stop his plan but he's an abomination and Justice (Vengeance at that point) overtakes him and forces him to do it. If you friendship path him, they basically become fully united and he does it of his own volition.

From what I remember anyway, been a bit since I played 2 to the end.
