It's nearly midnight here in EST. I'm sitting here enjoying some wine and whiskey and such, doing nothing useful during this brief interlude between infinite silences. But that's just the occasional Saturday. I have a standard 8-5 job that satisfies my basic needs with a little extra. I spend many of my leisurely hours wondering what others are doing with their lives after their working hours are complete. I have no romantic partner or children to satisfy my time, unless you count my dog as a child.

So, CE, what do you occupy your time with?

Neh. I think I'm good for the moment.

I kind of relate to your lifestyle tho. I spend a lot of time absorbed in others lives. But not people I actually know. I only really think about them when I actually hangout. Usually just whatever's on tv. I can't focus because I start thinking about the person's live outside of what they're doing, instead of just absorbing what they're currently telling me. And my household is just me and my dog as well.

Are you really close with any family or anything?

I just watched Another Round, and it really hit me. Amazing movie.

I am a teacher and I really love it. I am in the process of buying my first house so soon that will be all I worry about. Given the general state of the world right now, I am personally doing great. I really haven't felt this good mentally in several years.

I have some close family. They live about an hour away so I see them probably monthly.
