I think easiest gateway is PayPal, but when you sell I believe the catch is that it's just PayPal funds.
Smart in the sense of how PayPal continues to be more relevant in consumerism. *

But you're not going to be able to buy a house/car or really retire with those earnings unless PayPal becomes accepted towards more of those sectors.

*but I don't necessarily endorse this idea. Like any investment it's a risk. I put in $500 just as play liquid because apart from whether I gain or lose, I'm also feeling out how I can work with it.

So I hit a pinch at the end of October because I haven't worked since March and have been off unemployment since July.

I had to sell my Bitcoin that I bought at the end of 2017 or 18 and I sold at literally the worst time. I cashed out for $1100 dollars (which was at pretty much even of what I spent) Now I would've had like $2100+

I'm upset, but I needed the money so I can't really complain.

This rally is different as its driven by a number of factors, most notably the loss of faith in the US dollar and the need for a store of wealth to hedge against the dollar (and no, gold is nowhere near as accessible as the BYC), and the DeFi market booming, stealing 5% of the traditional banking market.

At this point, you put your money into BTC to maintain your wealth and for access into any new startups in the future that use blockchain technology. All of these companies, when raising capital will accept BTC. ETH is a second (obviously first if this project is using ETH as a platform).

Thats almost $3k return for me. Still not worth it yet to sell unless the rate is 100k or more. By that time then Id probably hold on for longer since itll still climb. Only worth investing if you have a lot of money back when it was below 5-10k.

You should have gotten some back when it was 17000, it's still not too late to get in if you look at a 2-10 year timeline. Just start making regular buys from here on out

It was between 7,000-10,000 for months in 2020. I regret not investing. Could have made 20,000 if I just bought 1 bitcoin at 10k.

I got some Ethereum back when it was $90 and Bitcoin around when it was 5K-6K. Ther only mistake I made was not buying more over time
