But that's not the worst part.
The worst part is that somehow that HDD got partitioned into two, while one of my SSDs went unformatted entirely. So this whole time I thought my computer was shitting the bed because it said C was an HDD, and the load times were slow as hell, and it only showed one SSD but the right number of drives. Fml. I guess I just... Back up the data I want from the hard drive, format it, install Windows to the proper drive... I don't fudging know.
It started after a Win 10 update that tanked my performance and I was like "fuck windows" and started experimenting with different Linux builds but that didn't pan out so I came back to Windows. You should only have the drive you want to install windows onto plugged into the motherboard. Plug in the others after you're done with updates

Assuming the SSD is big enough, you should be able to just clone the HDD partition to the SSD.

Nah, I wouldn't bother cloning Windows from an HDD to an SSD, there are all sorts of registry and filesystem settings that optimize it for solid state drives. Better just to start fresh
