isn't that the point of being the president?

Being able to do wtf you want? If he can pardon anyone why not say *F*** you Mitch* and still do it?

You guys are acting like Mitch isn't going to die of old age soon. Yes, someone will probably replace him, but you'll still get to see him die. Just be happy he is 78 and not 50.

One day, soon (not wishing death, but we all know how long humans basically live) , Mitch will never open his eyes again.

Its like that for checks and balances. A democrat Senate leader can do the same if there was a GOP president trying to force stuff.

Do you ever not say stupid shit? Like, how is that even relevant now? Obviously hes gonna die eventually.

Him dying later doesnt mean a damn thing when hes currently being a piece of shit.

Well, yeah. This is why presidential pardons are broken. The president can pardon an individual for any heinous crime.

Shocked that it hasn't been abused so badly until now. Need to revoke pardon powers and punish all that trump pardoned and will pardon.

I'd personally be on board with a constitutional amendment that would allow congress to veto presidential pardons with a supermajority vote within a certain time frame.

With how shit things are I wouldn't be surprised he lives until 110 and will be in the Senate the whole time. The good die young, but pricks last forever. Seems like whatever God or higher power that exists hates us all.

Absolutely. If the last four years have taught us anything it's that we need more checks and balances.

This proposal would have resulted in exactly 0 of Trump's pardons being vetoed.

No shit bro. Nobody here was born yesterday. But guess what? Even if I die, most people alive today will get to see the headlines that he is dead.

I'm not worried about dying soon like many of you are who make death topics every single day. We all gotta go sometime.

Imagine bringing up something so obvious as this "hey bro ur also mortal."

If anything should die out its being a captain obvious on the internet. The cringe is bad.

Whys the sky good? Why are boobs good? It just is man.
I love me some boobs.

Honestly guys I didn't give a shit about politics before now because I knew it was all fucked. The only difference is that now I know the names of the corrupt. Changes nothing really.

After covid cases go way down, I'm going to turn a blind eye again and just live my own life. Will what these people do always affect me since politics is life? Yes. It will. I will pay more taxes or I will pay less, yadda yadda yadda.

Point is I'm living in my own world. Life is too short to be thinking "damn these fucnjbg Republicans" every single day of my life. Bad people will always be in this world. Bad people will always have power.

But guess what? Good exists. And that's what I'm going to focus on.

If these people eventually ruin free speech on the internet, that sucks, but honestly talking to neckbeards online isn't very important for me. The people that I do care about - we can always text or instant message. I'll always find a way to be happy.

If he doesnt leave any evidence behind he wont be. I mean investigators are already having trouble charging him with quid pro quo for pardons and favors.

It's debatable how much support he has left really. Between Trump doing damage to their chances in the Georgia runoff by telling them voting is pointless with the voter fraud shit and the fact after January they can get back to the business of starting wars and making money off their stock options in the defense industry, it could be Mitch got told by the GOP leaders "fuck him, and if you wanna dick him around for funsies, we don't care."
