They're not "bad" in the sense that they're garbage, but there are vastly better options out there. While I'm not opposed to paying more for a brand/name/label, there's a limit. If apple didnt have the best marketing dept in the planet their products would be universally seen as solidly middle of the road --- "You go. Fair enough, if it works for your purposes that's all that matters. Didnt mean to make this a whole apple thing, but yeah to more directly answer the original question I just dont see what their "magic mouse" offers over a competing product other than guaranteed functionality. Once in the apple ecosystem it's very hard to get out without taking a loss, and oftentimes their official peripheral is the only real option unfortunately --- "You go.
