Pretty rough time to build a PC when GPU's across the board almost are spiking pretty hard. I built a new PC about 3 months ago but am forgoing a new GPU and Monitor until I can get a 3070 or equivalent for a cheaper price.

still using the same computer I built in 2012. upgraded the RAM once, and the video card once since then. as far as I know it's seriously bottlenecked by the CPU (i5-2310) but I don't notice it that much.

I did, didn't want to spend too much so I got:
I5-9400F Kingston Fury 2666 2x 8GB MSI H310 Pro-M2 Plus m.2 stick I don't know which one I kept my old kingston ssd and my r9 380 but I fitted everything in a case I bought with decent fan space and alright cable management. Earlier in the year I got fairly good Logitech 2.1 speaker set and recently I got a keyboard&mouse set which look very nice with the LEDs and whatnot. Ended up kind of overkill since I mostly play Football Manager nowadays but it's gonna do well, probably will upgrade my graphics at one point as well --- 2020 St. Louis Cardinals did alright ...
