Im not deeply involved with the classical music scene but it has a good reputation. Working there feels fancy in a good way. Gteborg is a nice city - many friendly people. It is true that it is very rainy and windy in Autumn and Winter but the Summers tend to be great. It is a typical coastal city in many ways and the sea is of great importance there. It is weaved into the citys DNA (one of their famous landmarks is a statue of Poseidon <_<).
