I use a combination of software and hardware but I also limit what I share on social media by creating dummy accounts. I use incognito mode at times as well.

I also shy away from search engines that collect data so no google for me.

I create strong pass words whenever I create an account especially financial and work related accounts.

I just stay anonymous everywhere and don't use social media. I also have a VPN just in case. I don't really care much anymore about search engines collecting data, I still use google and bing.

Same. I use that mode but don't log in when I do.

I use different screen names for different online communities. I also don't share my picture or personal information online.

I use the exact same password for absolutely every account I own.

Honestly, I gave up on keeping my information secure more than a decade ago. I've never had any kind of social media, even MySpace back in the day, but I made a Facebook account to use to log into mobile games back when that was a thing. I didn't fill in any of the personal info, used a completely new email address, used a fake name, everything I could to make sure there was no info connecting me to the account. When I logged in the "People You May Know" section was filled with people I actually know, and it's not like I live in a small town.

It's a losing battle so I just don't fight it.
