Had some delicious steak with mac & cheese, wrapped presents and my wife and I exchanged our own gifts because thats her family tradition and she didnt want to wait. Then we watched Cold One's christmas video.

Since you're in pain I'll share a personal story of mine to you. Back in 2005 my mom died that year, ever since that I haven't ever really felt the same, I still remember that being the very first time I got to ride a limo and on the radio on our way to bury her Mariah Carery's We belong together was playing since it was a hot song at the time, even through it was suppose to be a romantic song the lyrics to this day sounded way too on point on how me and my family were feeling during that moment, even now I sorta tear up hearing that song remembering that sense of powerlessness and pain that someone I loved so dearly wouldn't be there anymore and as I get older I'm starting to forget her voice, like it will still come back when I concentrate enough but it really hurts.

Im watching some Christmas stuff. Im watching the second book of The Little Drummer Boy (the old claymation movie from Rankin and Bass in the 70s.) Rewatched Elf and Home Alone earlier and I spent the evening visiting my family.

Playing FFXIV. I'm like double the level of the current story quest I'm supposed to do lol

Lmao I can't remember the casette player I had but I used to have the CD D-N300 Walkman (literally googled this and I can't believe it showed up) and this guy until I got my PSP:



I had some weird thing too.. it'd play like one song from these like Nintendo DS esque cartridges that you'd get near the register at a Toys R Us proprietary to this tiny music player.. can't remember the name of them though >_>

I lost my mom to Covid at the end of October this year. Im feeling now what you felt then. Im glad youre here to share your story though. It reminds me not to be so lonely. Im not the only one and Im doing my best to help my fam thru this years holidays. Being the big brother sucks sometimes but at least Ive learned to help others FIRST then suffer silently later. Im doing ok though. You guys here on gamefaqs have helped. Thanks guys!
