The thing is, DB Evolution isn't just a bad Dragon Ball movie, but a bad movie in general. The CGI is bad, the acting is bad, the writing is bad, they literally get their source material confused and rip off the wrong thing (why in fuck is the Kamehameha an "air bending" technique?), even the martial arts choreography is lousy.
It fails as an action movie, but it fails even worse as a Dragon Ball movie. It's legit the worst adaptation of anything I've ever seen. At least The Last Airbender made a reasonable attempt at telling the story of the original series, even if it got a lot of things wrong. Dragonball Evolution didn't even spell the title right. --- I write Naruto Fanfiction. But I am definitely not a furry. ... Copied to Clipboard!
