Maybe something I can play handheld without missing out on much of the experience.

Kinda want an rpg but I feel like some of those might be better played on the tv (I got no no kuni and tales of vesperia but I think they'd lose something)

How is divinity original sin 2 on switch?

The Borderlands games are great, but they last more than one week. Then again, you could just play one or two campaigns and probably time it right.

How are you going to stay awake for a whole week straight? That ain't healthy man.

How much time during that week are we talking? Is a game that you'll be done with in like 20 hours ideal or are you looking at more like a 60 hour week?

If you're considering Hades but not really in the mood for a rogue light, consider Transistor. It is another supergiant game, only it's more of a Sci-Fi noir story with a combat engine that you can play either as an action game or as a more strategic pause and pick your moves game. it's got a great style, an incredible soundtrack, and the type of gameplay that encourages multiple playthroughs.

Well I mean I don't any other plans until next Monday but my girlfriend's off too so I probably won't just play vidya. Probably more than 20 but less than 60.

Hmm. I was thinking of suggesting Moonlighter, it's different and I enjoyed it, with the DLC I'm guessing it's at about the 20-25 hour range and it's a good game for handheld. If you consider getting multiple shorter games, I'd second Transistor, it's short but really well made and the sountrack really is awesome. I bought a bundle to get the soundtrack years ago.

I actually don't have a switch so I don't really know what's on it. I want one almost purely for mario odyssey but I assume you've played that already

Divinity OS 2 is great and it also has local multiplayer. I play on PS so dunno how the switch handles it personally but I've heard it actually runs pretty well. It's pretty involved though and is kind of a long play if you want to do everything.

SaGa / Final Fantasy Legend collection just released. Probably take a week or so to beat all three games. They're handheld originals so you don't lose anything by playing them that way.

The local co-op is fantastic. If you both have a switch and a copy of the game, then its one of the best games for this. I actually have only done co-ip in BL2 and BL The Presequel, but those games are my favorites. Any of the three should work fine, but I know co op works great on the other two.

I've been in these ruts of late, usually with Smash. Getting back into BotW over the past week has really pulled me out of it. I imagine you've already played it, but it's not like there's a shortage of stuff to do.

Oh, also check out Bug Fables, especially if you have fond memories of the old Paper Mario games.
