Having a keyboard gives you a ton of options, but considering that a LOT of what you do in some games is travel, and you're stuck with four misaligned letters as movement, that's complete ass. Obviously people will plug in a controller and remedy that problem, but a ton of people play keyboard only on purpose and it disgusts me. But would I want to play any of these games with WASD that are my favorite? Devil May Cry with WASD, Resident Evil with WASD, Kingdom Hearts with WASD, Assassins Creed with WASD, Witcher 3, I can go on and on... Hell no. Why would I? Controllers limit what you can do because they have less buttons, but at least they're comfortable. And an analogue stick makes sense. WASD let's you dodge faster in an FPS naturally but it feels like shit. It's four blocks. Like... Seriously. Better aim is with a mouse but I also have better aim when I aim with my head in VR and it makes games too easy. Namely Resident Evil VII became super easy to aim with superior aim.
