Ive never played Ninja Gaiden, but I still think egoraptor is bad at video games.

Id give him a small pass if he was self-aware and realized that his chatter distracts him and makes him perform poorly, but he still gets legitimately upset in some situations. I cant take any of his Sequilitis videos seriously because of it.

people who care about the level of play in a comedy let's play are watching for the wrong reasons.

I think Arin needs to stop being a crybaby bitch and I also love classically hard games like Ninja Gaiden and Castlevania >_>

Tbf I've seen him ridicule himself and even apologised for being a dumb ass a lot. The comments still fry him regardless.

Personally I agree. I never really get upset about someone playing badly unless they're unfairly harsh towards the game because of their own stupidity (which tbf often describes Ego) but usually it's annoying to realize all the comments are going to focus on the poor playing even if it's just small mistakes.

Happens some times but as someone who used to watch GG religiously before moving to Oney Plays I gotta say those people would get mad at anything no matter how small.

I didnt mind him being bad but that windwaker playthrough broke me...i beat it when I was 8 and this 30 something getting stuck for 3 hours on one puzzle. Only letsplay/steamers I watch anymore are Woolievs, Patstairsat, Vinny, and Joel.

I just wish they'd stick to the good games. They were so freaking jazzed playing Dead Rising 3 and 4, which are stellar to watch, but never finished them (4 only lasted, what 3 episodes?). Meanwhile, we're on episode 998 of Danganronpa every God damn day.

If he's not playing that specific set of games, he's just not going to try at all to play it and then bitch when the game punishes him for it. A whiny sulk isn't the type of funny rage people are looking for and that's what always happens when he intentionally doesn't read basic shit and then faces the consequences for that.

And there are also instances where he's just acting like an asshole. That rant he made in the Paper Mario playthrough was beyond stupid. Someone gave Dan some tips on the game and Dan was happy to receive them, but Arin made a big deal about that ruining the "unique experience" they were having despite them reading a walkthrough for 99% of the game.

I'll defend Arin on this. While he shouldn't have took it out on the guy who gave Dan tips it's clear he was upset over the people who were just bitching and moaning over Dan not being good even though Dan was enjoying the game and not complaining. The comment section was cancer and proves they dont just get mad when Arin blames the game. Someone playing poorly despite calmly enjoying himself is triggering it seems.

Arin's bad because he doesn't read and follow instructions. He likes intuitive game design that you learn from playing as you go. Amazed he was able to eventually beat Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne.

I watched it. I can say for certain no he did not piss on it constantly. He mentioned a couple of times he didnt really like the game but he was not bitching about it constantly the whole time. People really blow that shit out of proportion.
