Last time being, first day of Election Day early voting.

Make of this what you will.

Makes perfect sense, more early voting ballots were tabulated as late mail and such comes in.

Theyre 2 different elections, and Im assuming this is just in-person early voting, not absentee ballots.

I didn't mean absentee, just slow mail days

I would imagine that it is a lot of bitter and angry republicans going out to vote.

That one Georgia chick's "go vote" campaign never ceased so a higher turnout isn't suspect.

Democrats have been doing a huge voting registration push so it'll be interesting to see how that pans out

I mean, that was more to make democrat voters complacent rather than to stop republicans from voting.

I'm very curious to see if Georgia will go blue like with the Presidential.

I wouldn't blame a lot of left-leaning and Democrat voters in GA if they felt like it was hopeless, that they could never win there.
The 2020 election shattered that myopia and proved it could happen. So maybe now even more people who normally stayed home b/c they thought victory was impossible are actually turning out.

Usually higher turn out is good for Dems, since they seem to have the more apathetic or flaky voters (young people), so this seems like good news... Guess it really depends on the county by county breakdown of the voting, but may as well wait a while before diving into those numbers...
