In 2020, this site lists the average height of every country for male and female..and the average height of the american male today is 5'9 and for a female is 5'4, which is exactly the same as those living in Canada.

They even break it down by state where the tallest men are surprisingly all in CONSERVATIVE states like Alabama, West Virginia, The Dakotas and Wyoming while the tallest females is a split between liberal and conservative

The tallest men worldwide however are in Europe like in the Netherlands and Sweden while the shortest men are no surprise, in asian countries like The Philippines and Indonesia

I'm 6'1.

Also, women usually don't believe I'm 5'8", they usually insist I'm at leat 5'9". I think that's because many men are frauds lying about their height.

I am just shy of 5'4" (female). My husband is 6' and my son is about 5'10" at 16 1/2 years old. I don't think he's finished growing.

My daughter is the tiny one at under 5' at almost 13 years.

I think a part is CE probably skews more white and of European descent than the US average. I'm Swedish and English, and 6'2", for example.

Open polls like this have an inherent bias in them. Tall people will be more likely to vote in them while short people are more likely to be embarrassed and not vote. There is also the fact that people tend to exaggerate their height.

According to that site, that means I'm five inches taller than average. Sure doesn't feel that way whenever I go out though. Either I live in a neighborhood where all the tall people are, or I have a tendency to overestimate people's heights or something.
