Maybe one of the only good things to happen in 2020 unless ofc you wanted to buy some and they went up.

Reserved list magic cards have gone up immensely this year. For those who don't know, the reserved list is a list of cards they have promised to never reprint. Many of the cards are legal in some formats and very powerful, and have gone up like 4x in price this year.

I keep saying I'm going to go through the box of magic cards I have from 20 years ago when I played to see if I have anything worth some money but then I realize it will take a ton of time. I have to have at least 1000 cards from some pretty old sets. I can't really remember when I stopped playing but "Ice Age" or "4th edition" sound familiar. All my cards are from that time or before.

I got a friend that does sports trading cards and has made a killing this year buying cards getting them graded and then selling them. He buys like 10 of the same card and then gets them all graded and some of the prices are crazy.

You know what didnt go up in value? 90s Star Wars toys that I bought a shit ton of when I was a kid. Most are valued lower than what was paid for them. Heres the kicker, the ones from the early 2000s did go up in value.

i did sell some hand made duck decoys for way more than I expected but I think that was in November/December last year.

I collect Pokemon cards and can confirm that, yes, the market has been crazy this year. In part due to scalpers trying to supplement their income by buying out store stocks and flipping for over double retail.

I have a bunch of old SNES, N64, GameCube, PS1 and PS2 games. PS2 games probably aren't worth anything, but I wonder about everything else. How often does one get ripped off selling on eBay?

Some ps2 games are.

English Xenosaga 3 is worth over $100 used.

I need to go dig out my Pokemon cards. Unfortunately I traded my Charizard back in 2000, but I have lots of other Gen 1 cards.

I have like 8 Charmanders.

If I grade them and they are like PSA 10 I can sell them for $40 each supposedly.
