IMO absolutely. Theyre kids, they should get a snow day even if theyre remote learning. Let them PLAY and be KIDS!!! Not academic robots.

Assuming they're actually doing classes / classwork five days a week then absolutely yes. I hate the idea that everyone has to be connected all the time. Yeah it's convenient to be able to work or study from home but it also becomes way too easy for institutions to abuse that constant connectivity. People need to realize they're dealing with people and cut some slack.

I say this as someone who was leashed to Google Hangouts for two years for no discernible reason.

Most schools have 10 days or so built in to account for snow days. Spread those 10 days out and give a couple of three day weekends.
