Legally, yes.

I was behind two cars at a red light. When the light turned green the guy all the way in the front started going then immediately braked, cause me and the car before me to crash into him.

The 19 year old in front of me panicked and cried the entire time and told the police I hit her into the first car.

The worst thing: My car was the only car damaged noticeably.

Yea, in my younger years. My last car accident where I was at fault was 14 years ago. I had an accident 5 years back, but I wasn't at fault for that one.

I clipped a lady's mirror with my mirror once while pulling into a parking spot ahead of her. No actual damage, just knocked the mirror slightly out of place and it was easy to fix. Upon subsequent inspection, she was parked weirdly far out from the curb and that's probably why I misjudged the distance, but where there was no damage done and I still shouldn't have hit it (plus she was - quite understandably - pretty upset), I wasn't about to push the issue.

Other than that, my only accidents have been me getting rear-ended at stop lights when it's been 100% their fault (I stopped long before they hit me). That's happened twice. One time there was no damage to either car, the other there was no damage to mine, but her front license plate had a large dent in it from my trailer hitch.

I bumped into a car once while backing out of my garage. It was parked on the street and I carelessly wasnt paying as much attention as I should have. The car was old and beat up, no real damage was done that I could see, but I still went ahead and knocked on the house where it was parked. No answer and I needed to get to work so I just left a note under their windshield wiper explaining what happened and leaving them my contact info. Never heard anything and never saw that car again

I have actually been in a DUI accident. Worst thing I have ever done and the one thing I have felt most shameful about in my life. Luckily no one was hurt, but I had to pay over 3000 restitution, go to DUI classes, and have a breathalyzer installed in my car. The silver lining is that it was what motivated me to get my shit together and get into a career helping others.

I've also been hit twice while stopped at a red light.

I don't drive.

Minor fender bender backing out of a parking spot. We agreed to settle outside of insurance, and the damage was minor so eventually the guy was nice enough to drop it.
