I've been trying to run 3x a week outside, which is only a fraction of the workout I used to be. But honestly with the weather getting colder and it getting dark right around the time I'm done work, it's been getting a lot harder. This winter is going to be tough

Still was trash by the time gyms opened back up.

Nobody has used it since he's been gone like ten years.

The squat rack is better than his Bench.

It's not about being lazy, its about realizing even if I "train" at home for 3 weeks, at best it will make a difference of 1-2 days of bouncing back when I come back.

-Not training may cause me to lose 10% strength (temporarily) and maybe 2% muscle
-Training will cause me to lose 7-10% strength (temporarily) and 1% muscle.

During short breaks like this the only thing that matters is cardiovascular maintenance, which is moot because I will be drumming and maintaining that. Regardless of whether I train or not I will not gain any muscle while I am off, I will lose a very small amount, and it will take me a week to reacclimate.

This discussion would be a lot different if I was someone who just started lifting and could actually benefit substantially from the limitations of home workouts without equipment. The situation was a lot difference last time when gyms closed for an entire 3 months which has a much greater impact like atrophy, and muscle-fat conversion.
