That's nice, always thought it was weird that the community let the entire meta center around that one move. If saccing an item slot to ignore it is making a lot more pokemon viable then I guess I'm okay with that compromise

Stealth Rock alone has walled dozens of Pokemon from being viable over the years. But now there's an item to ignore SR damage so these Pokemon can be used. There's an attack called Stealth Rock where it acts as a battlefield hazard, and basically if your Pokemon is weak to rock attacks, it loses 25% of it's HP instantly as soon as it switches in, before any attacks happen. With Pokemon doubly weak to rock like Moltres, they take a whopping 50% instantly. Half of their HP just for switching in.
