...Because the US has dealt with "Resident Evil" for 20 years, of course they would. That's the only reason why they would know. If it had been "Biohazard" for 20 years, then everyone would know what you're talking about when you use that.

Personally, I'd prefer using the original names for games.

That's what it is called here though. Honestly the weird hangups on names Westerners have around Japanese media makes me glad I don't have to deal with that shit. Seeing people lose their shit over Aerith or whatever is ridiculous.

This has to be trolling. Names were switched in the US. Street Fighter came from Japan. M. Bison was a pun on Mike Tyson and they were afraid they would get sued in the US due to how strict the legal environment is there.

It's decent VA for a JRPG imo. Aerith's voice has grown on me, but it's not my favorite. It's a very chipper interpretation of the character in general. I'm not sure how I feel about Sephiroth honestly.

And for the name, Crisis Core was the first game I played in the series so I never had an issue.

I mean, if the game had been known by that name in the US for over 20 years, I doubt there'd be any confusion. "Do you like the Biohazard games?" "Have you played anything from the Biohazard series?" No one's gonna confuse that for... an actual biohazard. I mean, "Halo" and "Doom" can be thought of as generic names too, but no one has a problem with them.
