Like, certain subgroups of men say women have it much better than men because of stuff that they also have equal access to? I don't get it.

Are people claiming that's women's fault? I'm not up to date on the outrage of the week in America.

Do people blame women? Haven't seen that. I think the issue is that in the pursuit of "the great balancing", shit like this is seen as positive.

I think it's more like there is alot of social encouragement and empowerment for women to pursue higher education that guys just don't get. There's not much social enthusiasm to help and encourage boys to succeed academically. They're just expected to go to work.

Its also been suggested that schooling is done increasingly by women, for girls. That the current state of education is more geared toward girls' typical behavior, etc. Boys and young men aren't being engaged enough in the learning process.

This is just stupidly inaccurate but whats new. Men dominate many fields like STEM and even in the humanities the professoriate is often primarily male

For some people. The people blaming it on men also dont like to pay attention to statistics, which flat out say men work more, which is why they tend to make more. Take into account mens competitive nature, and typically they end up in the top spots, because that is what they strive for. Obviously some women do as well, and those who do, end up at the top spots too...however its predominantly men, because again, men seem to be more competitive, and sink more time into work.

Cherry picking male dominated fields ignores the fact that college enrollment numbers overwhelmingly favor females:

"In 1979, women officially overtook men as the dominant sex on college campuses. In 2019-20, women made up 55% of the undergraduate population in the U.S. and 60% of the graduate school pool."

https://www.statista.com/statistics/236360/undergraduate-enrollment-in-us-by-gender/

Getting into the reasons why is a whole other can of worms, but clearly women are being encouraged to do well in school more than men are.

Basically this, but there's more to it and traditionally men have dominated academia, but it has very clearly been shifting for a couple decades and it looks like it will continue to do so.

.
Again, you missed the important point. It should be pretty clear that there's an issue that despite a larger proportion of woman entering the fields, the leaders of the fields are disproportionately men. Even in psychology has a nearly even split of professors, despite the bachelor's enrollment being overwhelmingly female.
