During quarantine it was up to a half ounce a week regularly with some weeks reaching a full ounce. Weed is no exception. There's support groups for former marijuana addicts. There's a whole subreddit series dedicated to stages of quitting weed. There could be any number of reasons how someone could develop an addiction to weed. I say this all as big smoker and supporter of legalization.
