I mean for the sake of argument, a steel or titanium obelisk surrounded by sandstone at the end of a box canyon isn't going to look real to begin with...but how does nobody even know what it was made of for sure? Not one person that visited the thing took a scraping to at least figure out the metallurgy? There are so many things about this object that reek of bullshit for the week it has been on my radar. You're telling me some mudders wouldn't have gone out there with their trucks and ratchet straps and try to drag the thing off? Not one clip with sound of somebody tapping on the thing with a mallet? Not one person even tried a magnet or a metal detector on the thing for the week it was viral?
