Kinda annoyed that it ends like it does because I want to start 3 now but have other stuff to do -_-

I remember when the game came out and everyone was wetting themselves over the dual wield option. I did wind up using that a lot more frequently than I expected.

Yeah the campaign had way more interesting diversity to it and I found it easier to speed through some of the levels. There was still a level or two that was just annoying as hell like Library but w/e.

I guess these story terminals weren't in the original games, but I'm also confused by their placement in this series. Sometimes they are right next to an objective you have to interact with, sometimes they are tucked away in some dark corner somewhere... Really inconsistent, and it's not like they get harder to find the farther you get into the game lol.

You're about to experience the best game in the series. All the ones after are still great (aside from 5 which isn't necessarily bad, just not as good) but 3 is the absolute peak of the franchise IMO

Halo 2 is the best campaign. If you go in with high expectations for 3's campaign, you will be very disappointed.

I would say no personally - maybe once I get through the whole series I can be a better judge.

I am surprised there is more depth to the story than I expected, but it's still reminiscent of other things I've seen in games and movies and I don't think Halo is doing it any better than those did. I guess to me I had low expectations of the story going in and was just playing it for the shooting, and so the fact that there was *more* to it than just the shooting was an unexpected bonus.

Thanks - that's a good way to put it, and part of why I didn't really get into Half Life
