Even if they are ran by misogynistic scum who take advantage of their female employees and then try to bury them, they have a large focus on single player games.

And misogynistic scum!

On a serious note, I really enjoyed Watch Dogs Legion

Just randomly bought AC: Odyssey and am very much into it. I maybe actually go back through the series as I'm really unfamiliar with it.

On the other hand, it's too bad most of them seem to follow an overarching design philosophy, which just makes it seem like they make the same game with different skins. >_>

Are you the same people who despise Bethesda for consistently publishing some of the best single player focused games of the past decade? Because defending Ubisoft is pretty weak.

I don't see anyone knocking most of the games that Bethesda publishes. Just the ones they develop

I give props to any developer who focuses on single player over multiplayer.

I decided to do just that recently, got the last couple I was missing on sale week before last and started playing 2 yesterday. I have 11 AC games lined up, from 2 through Odyssey.

I'm currently playing through Valhalla and honestly I just give Ubisoft credit for making gorgeous and realized worlds. Saying Valhalla is just a reskin of Origins or Watch Dogs Legion is a gross misunderstanding to the amount of time designers spend making these places.

I bought Origins, played for thirty minutes, and haven't touched it since. I was more intimated than anything. And felt weird just playing it out of order. Now, I'm glad I have it and will revisit it.

Ah shit. See, 11 games is fucking intimidating lol. But maybe I need to do it so I can back into gaming and have something to look forward to, much like I do now with Odyssey.

I like how Origins is intimidating but Odyssey with its waaaay bigger map wasnt lol.

Both of them are really good though. Origins is more story driven though and has a better main character tbh, but Kassandra is

That is exactly why I decided to do it, lately all that I have really been doing when it comes to gaming is a little Apex Legends and then poking around at never ending resource management kind of games like Oxygen Not Included, Rimworld, etc. I just kind of lost that gaming drive over the last few years, I don't think I've even beaten a single player game since Horizen Zero Dawn (back when it first came out.) I'm hoping that working through this series, especially the ones that I haven't played yet (which is all of them after Black Flag) will help break me out of the funk. I have a ridiculous backlog of beatable games that I haven't touched.

So I actually wanted to go back to Origins, but it's packed away. I bought Origins to get me into the series in preparation for Odyssey. I'm just weird.

Maybe I should do it then. I play online with some friends and while I enjoy it, I still love single player campaigns. It's just so hard for me to stay involved in them. I'm terrible for it.
