Obsession with novelty means we will get new flavors and variants every Valentine's Day, Halloween, Winter Holiday Season, and usually a Summer (4th of July themed) flavor or color variant too.

Edit: oh yeah, and Easter too!

They sound like they'd be good but they end up disappointing in a store brand kinda way.

Reese's knows what's up though. They just take a reese's and put it in a pumpkin or tree form.

Reese's knows their client base. Instead of introducing new flavors on the regular, what do they do? Stuff more Reese's into their Reese's.

Although I'm like 90% sure they reduced the size of Reese cups compared to even just a couple years ago. The last package I bought seemed oddly small.

This seems to describe a lot of these novelty flavours. Really, I'd rather just make sugar cookies and put white chocolate chips in them.

Idk about M&M. But most of the oero flavors are pretty good.

I could see pretzel Reese being good. I'd be more inclined to just get a regular Reese and also eat a pretzel in the same bite, but that would be tasty.

They made a Reese Oh Henry bar a little while back that I expected to be a lot better than it was. It wasn't bad, just not really as good as either regular candy, which was disappointing.

White chocolate scratches a different itch, in my mind. If I want chocolate flavour, it's useless, but it's a pleasant taste in its own right. In particular, it pairs very well with many fruits that don't necessarily go well with actual chocolate, such as lemon/lime (orange is great with either) or mango. In this case, I do think it would complement a sugar cookie well, as opposed to chocolate taking over and turning it into a chocolate sugar cookie (which is good, but different).

This is heresy. Dark chocolate is the best, provided it's not any of the ridiculously high chocolate content ones that just taste like dirt. I enjoy Lindor's 90% bars well enough in moderation, but the 99% ones are just nope. Anything up to 80%, though, is great.

I can't eat it. Idk what it is, but I don't like it. Never have, and I don't think I ever will. Mainly because I avoid it when possibly.

Lindor is probably the reason I don't like it more, there days. I like the truffles. Most of the flavors are fine. Milk is good, the other random flavors and limited are good (except I'm not the biggest fan of peppermint), and white in the best, IMO. But I've tried dark many times, and I just don't like it. Can't eat it. It's one of the reasons I stopped getting the variety packs...

Everything seems to be sugar cookie this Christmas. I've seen sugar cookie Pop-Tarts and sugar cookie-flavored "Elf on the Shelf" cereal, and I even have a bag of sugar cookie Hershey's Kisses.

I think sugar cookie is 2020's pumpkin spice.

The sugar cookie poptarts have been around for at least 6 years. They're the best flavor in general. Also I'd recommend getting a box of Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch.
