They got rid of spell crafting. The world is a lot more "same" looking in Skyrim. The side quests were better in Oblivion... A few people prefer Morrowind and Oblivion for being better as RPGs, but there is a reason Skyrim is the most popular entry yet. And theres a ton of mods available for Xbox users, people are constantly porting stuff from nexus mods I would grab it for that price. Figured out you could smith daggers for basically nothing, then enchant them for basically nothing, and raise those skills to god-like levels. Using the stuff you could then make with it, (almost) the whole game becomes way too easy and it got boring. Which is too bad- I bought my 360 specifically for Skyrim and played it a good 3-4 months almost everyday. I would suggest maybe NOT doing that if you want the game to be challenging. A lot of mods have been ported over to Special Edition and 80% of the ones that haven't (usually due to lack of permissions from the original author or just nobody doing it) can be easily converted yourself. You don't really have that much choice, and a lot of the offerings just seem bizarre unless you want to imagine that your character's been hideously disfigured in a car crash. Details that might look good in close-up tend to be completely lost the instant the camera pulls back a little, while others are practically invisible anyway.
