We started a semi-lockdown in Alberta
Schools closed for grade 7-12, no sporta/gyms/etc., 25$ capacity in stores and restaurants, and the most severe one is no indoor public gatherings of any kind. Basically you are not allowed to go to anyone else's house.

My state in the US hasn't done any type of lockdown. Gyms, schools, indoor dining is still open.

It's really weird in the UK

Officially we're in Lockdown until December 2nd

But no one is following it.

Sure Pubs/Gyms/Resturants and (some) Clothes shops are closed but everything else is open. The streets are utterly full of people. Hardware stores, Wilkos, Comic Book shops, Fabric Shops, Jewlery stores.

There's also supposed to be a "No more than 6, no intermingling houses" but again, no one is following it so gatherings are everywhere.

It's also law that you have to wear a mask inside shops but like 30/40% of people don't and no one cares.

There's even been large scale anti-Covid protests calling the entire virus a hoax made up by the NWO. No small number of people in the UK believe this.

As a result it doesn't feel like a lockdown at all, it just feels like some services aren't running.

Even the speeches being made by government officials are like "Well you really shouldn't be doing this but....."

If you've got an hour to kill, watch this video:

https://youtu.be/xfEtqWmhxgE

It's fucking pathetic.

She refuses to say what the plan is for Christmas or new Year, Refuses to say what the rules are, refuses to say what the punishments will be for people who break the rules and at the same time goes "Well I don't want to say it but if you break the rules that's actually fine."

Then wonders why no one in England likes her.

There's a lot of speculation that England will go back into Lockdown in January but I don't buy it. This "lockdown" has been such a failure and the population is so against it, I feel like if they try it again literally nothing will happen unless the fucking army is deployed and no one has the balls to do that.

https://www.alaskasnewssource.com/2020/11/25/anchorage-acting-mayor-issues-emergency-hunker-down-order/

won't start until next week

The emergency order requires people in the municipality to limit contact with people outside of their household, quarantine if possibly contagious with COVID-19 and limit indoor gatherings to six people and outdoor gatherings to 10 people.

The order closes bars and restaurants for in-person service but allows delivery, take-out service and outdoor service

Indoor gyms are still allowed to operate but are limited to 25% capacity. Indoor fitness classes are able to continue but participants at a class must be 10 feet from each other.

The order closes indoor organized sports competitions and closes entertainment facilities like bowling alleys, bingo halls, theaters and private clubs.

While sports teams are not allowed to compete indoors, the order allows teams to practice indoors as long as players follow social distancing requirements.

Salons are still able to open but are also limited to 25% capacity and are prohibited from offering services that require someone to remove a mask.

Retailers are limited to 25% building occupancy and any employer who can have employees work remotely is asked to implement a work from home policy.

Businesses are required to keep a legible log of names for any visitor that comes to the establishment for an in-person service or appointment that lasts over 15 minutes. The log will be used for contact tracing purposes and must be kept for 30 days after the visit.

I live in just about the only county in wisconsin taking it seriously and thus one of the only ones where covid spread isnt completely out of control

Masks indoors are mandatory, restaurants are limited to 25% capacity, bars only allow outdoor service, and right now indoor gatherings are banned, and outdoor gatherings are limited to 10 people
