What I cannot stand is that we have service people in your house for six fucking hours and 1% of the job is wrong but that somehow means you need money off the final bill. Also people who tip but tip different amounts to the different employees right in front of their fucking faces.

Those customers are scum and pretty much insures not only will you get the shittiest service and deal, but also no future service, and other employees and other stores even (if you're a neighborhood menace/asshole) know about your BS.

When I worked at Dollar General this lady fucking exploded in rage because a coupon for five cents off an item had expired two weeks earlier and I couldn't take it. I'd never seen such anger before.

yeah, i know. i used to have to babysit a person like that. the worst ones understand that people generally avoid conflict and try to leverage it -- it's not them just flying off the handle. it's calculated.

The problem is customer service is actually trying to help to the best of their ability for quality assurance. An irate customer often hampers this process.
