I'm looking at giving my sister another Switch game for Christmas and like these two options the most.

My sister has never played a Spyro game, but she loves platformers. I know that the Reignited trilogy was well-received, but I believe that you have to download the second and third games and am worried about how much space take up. I also know that due to hardware limitations, Switch ports can have performance issues and don't know if Spyro was a notable offender there.

My sister loved the Monkey Ball games on the GameCube, so she might be willing to overlook the flaws of this game, but she gets frustrated easily and don't know how rage-inducing this one is. How is the minigame collection in this one?

Banana Blitz HD is much easier than the first 2 games because it was originally designed for a wii remote so it's not as hard with traditional controls. Level design isn't as good though

They kinda redid the minigames and only took a selection of the most popular ones. They're fine, but not the reason I would play the game.

Spyro download is big enough that she will need an SD card. I think it's like 8GB
