Thanks for the info. Not sure when all this pandemic craziness will end, but Ive made it a must-do bucket list place to visit.

Have you ever tried crossing busy streets in Manila? I was not used to it and thought I was going to be street pizza a few times. Whats hard to imagine is some have said that Vietnams traffic can be crazier at times.

When I was in China, we used underground crossings when possible. They have these tunnels that you can walk under the street. Though they were filled with beggars and vendors selling questionable goods

It was a fast way to cross heavy traffic though

when you have the right of way and they have plenty of time to stop, sometimes you keep walking because you won't ever get across if you don't. it's like if you're at a stop sign and it's your turn. you rely on trusting that they'll follow the rules.
