Even if they creators managed to be on point with their guess of what strain would be popular that year. Though I believe I've read that this vaccine is built to build an immune response to the virus's method of penetrating the cell and not the strain. In order to make these bad boys useful, they need a majority of people to have it, meaning making people pay for it will make it much less effective.
